Dear Grand Marais Playhouse supporter ,
For 48 years the Grand Marais Playhouse has gathered community members together. Hundreds of people have worked together to create theater and share it with family and friends.
Our area has changed a lot since 1971 but the importance of building community remains the same.
Through Grand Marais Playhouse productions, anyone who chooses to participate backstage or on stage, anyone including our youth, families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors learn the value of working as an ensemble while telling stories through the art of theater. What is created are productions that touch our hearts, entertain us and create worlds both foreign and familiar.
We need your support to continue to create these important productions.
You can help us bring people together. Each production has people building, painting, sewing, acting, singing, creating and at the same time learn more about each other and building trust. These same people return to the community maintaining these ties creating a stronger community for us all.

P.S. We are beginning preparations for a 50th season celebration in 2021. We need volunteers interested in our fabulous history to help gather and sort programs and photos to ready it for sharing with our community.
